This course contains the Dharmas you need to practice to be able to implement what you learned from the text of Expounding the Absolute Truth through the Heart Sutra. It also includes testimonials from three disciples on what they gained from reading this magnificent text. Buddha Master first imparted Buddha Dharma on causality and the rules and methods of continual practice required to realize prajna. He then explained the Preliminary Practices, the Dharma needed to pass through barriers and other Dharma practices. This time we can review the text and complete the homework for each of the 12 lessons. The questions and related video discussions from last year are provided below, but you will need to be enrolled in DCB26 to have access to them. The Saturday classes will not repeat what the Buddha said, but focus on reviewing our understanding of what we have already covered. The same link used for the other Saturday ZOOM sessions will be used for this series of Learning from Buddha Seminary courses including DCB21-26 and C41(A).
I also included the first video we recorded on this course when it was offered in 2022 as it explains how we started this process. I was very impressed with the questions asked and level of discussion that followed. Now more of us have had the opportunity to hear or read the entire text–sometimes many times. Let us focus now on how we can use what we have learned to achieve our common objectives.
