The Evening Chanting at Holy Vajrasana Temple and Retreat Center is usually done at 5:00 pm Monday through Friday Pacific Time, but may run later during formal group retreats. Public is welcome to either join us at the temple or through the Virtual Holy Vajrasana Temple Mission. You may join with the ZOOM link of https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82934114348. You should check our schedule to see if the temple is open or if we are on retreat.

The service consists of praises and offerings to the Buddhas including “Twenty-One Verses of Praise to Tara” in both English and Chinese as well as our evening “Learning from Buddha Reflection,” the “Samantabhadra Bodhisattva’s Verse of Exhortation,” the “Vajrasattva’s One-Hundred-Character Bright Mantra,” and the “Dedication of Merit.”
This chant will be led in English by a recording of Rinpoche Gesang Suolang and in Chinese (Thai accent) by Kunlanat (WOW) Makboon. Both were devoutees of Green Tara and are fondly remembered by all of us.
We also use this time to do our third reflection on how well we did that day in our cultivation to become bodhisattvas as required in Learning from Buddha. You can learn more about the Buddha Master’s teachings on this in the Learning from Buddha Seminary (LFBS) course DCB35
You may download the latest version of the Holy Vajrasana Temple & Retreat Center “Evening Service” and join us at the temple or on-line.
