On June 15, 2025 at 10:00 am, I will be at Holy Heavenly Lake in Buddhist Town to read from preliminary translations of one of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III’s most famous teachings–The Sutra on Understanding Ultimate Truth. Sometimes simply called the Truth Sutra this was a discourse given with commentary on a trip to the East Coast of America by His Holiness to a few of His closest disciples. It is now chanted in Chinese at temples and many events, but unfortunately is has not been released in English. I do have an early translation and have listened to oral translations of the Journey to the East Coast CDs several times and am able to read from these translations and notes, but cannot share them in written form. I just gave such a reading in English at our temple in Sanger and will do this again at a temporary site in Hesperia, 10161 Choiceana Avenue.
It is my intention to continue reading preliminary translations of the discourses of our Buddha Master at this location every month and will be back again on July 20 at the same time. Although this is a very profound and advanced teaching, I am starting classes again in Hesperia with this as an introduction to the depth and range of teachings offered by His Holiness. We can decide at this first meeting what those attending want to hear in the future.
