I’ve been busy reworking our plans for a second temple and retreat center to be located at Buddhist Town at Holy Heavenly Lake in Hesperia, California. This weekend I was able to see the overall master plan and was briefed on the status of the project. I am very happy to report that the project is progressing and I am hopeful I will be able to report more soon. I can also report that the plans are very impressive. This will be an amazing setting where we and others can go and learn the dharma and experience Buddhist art, architecture, and culture. There will be many different temples, monasteries, dharma centers, and related commercial structures including hotels and restaurants. There will also be many temples in addition to the main Ancient Buddha Temple.

We hope to build several ecodome structures like the one shown above along with a small temple. I also hope we can build individual Hermit Meditation Caves where disciples can take long-term solitary retreats or stay in while attending shorter group retreats. The first ecodome will also serve as a small dharma center until we are able to construct the Holy Vajrasana Temple.
