The students who attended the recent retreat in Sanger and others were able to hear a newly released discourse by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III entitled “Taking Refuge to Become a Buddhist Disciple and Practicing According to the Teachings of the Buddha Will Eradicate All Sins, Including the Retributions of Descending to Hell. You Can Naturally Become a Great Holy Person with Enormous Supernormal Power, Boundless Good Fortune, and Be Free from Birth, Aging, Sickness, and Death.”

This discourse explains aspects of the Buddhist religion, the Buddha-dharma, and certain Buddhist theories as well as what benefits Buddhism can bring to those who follow its teachings. It further explains that all people have come to this world to repay their karmic debts and receive their karmic retribution and rewards. It was a discourse on causality that explains that after taking refuge, you can enter dharma practice to ultimately become a Buddha. This discourse was also listened to on Sunday, February 23 at the Holy Vajrasana Temple in Sanger and again on March 1, at the Xuanfa Holy Heavenly Lake Dharma Center at 10161 Choiceana Avenue, Hesperia, California.

Those attending the retreat and the Rosemead class were able to meet H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III and receive blessings and a special discourse. Some of us stayed longer and were blessed with a second discourse later in the week on how to follow the Buddha and some of the basic principles expounded by the Buddha.
