I have wondered what had happened to the Master Wan Ko Yee Museum originally built to house the awards, artwork, and other aspects of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, who was known as Master Wan Ko Yee in China when the museum was established. When I found Liri Zou’s video of what he experienced at this site located in Dayi County, Sichuan Province, China, the home town of His Holiness, I wanted to share it with you. I don’t have a lot more information, but as you can see, the facility is being renovated. It is part of the Jinghuishan Park
The view of the Hall of Arhats or Lohans is awesome. Liri told me that each of the holy beings does have a name and he thinks there are 500 there. He also told me that the Buddha Master talks about the statues in a discourse titled “Attaining Virtuous Realization States Is Crucial for Understanding the True Meaning of Buddha Dharma” in Volume XIV of the H.H Dorje Chang Buddha III Sutra Collection and referenced in page 260 of the Big Blue Book H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha: A Treasury of True Buddhadharma. We do not have any English translation of this discourse. I am told that this discourse provides a lot of background on the Chinese Museum and the many miraculous things that happened and were seen when the Museum opened. It was also explained that the Buddha Master empowered a few dozen students to help Him paint the bodies and features on all 500 statues, which were completed in 3 days.
