Ode to the Holy Vajra Poles

When people do Solitary Retreats at the temple, they respond in different ways to the temple environment. Some sing. Many chant and some dance. We missed recording the opening of this improvisational event, but here is the closing offering to the Holy Vajra Poles by Amita (Rebecca) Hunt, accompanied by Pannavati Bhikshunni on my Shaman’s drum.

Rebecca was one of several students doing Solitary Retreats at the temple in October 2023. She is a professional actor, dancer and craftsman of beautiful gemstone jewelry who lives in Park City, Utah and a disciple of the late Gesang Suolang Rinpoche.
