We are announcing a new series of classes to be held at the Learning from Buddha College and Seminary on Imparting the Absolute Truth through the Heart Sutra. We are not able to read from the text of this great sutra on the internet, but we will be holding classes on the text at the temple and will share the discussion on the questions developed for the Buddhist Studies and Xiuxing Seminary Programs. Many students have attended our study retreats at the temple and been able to study this amazing sutra.

We urge all of you to plan your own retreat at the temple or join us next year for the 30-day retreat scheduled from August 4-September 4, 2023 to come and read this amazing sutra. We are returning to short Meditation Retreats over the major holidays, but you can come and also read the sutra during those retreats. Although we will be observing silence except for a daily class and morning chanting, individuals can use the meditation sessions to read the sutra on their own.

All classes will be held from 9:00-11:00 am Pacific Time, unless otherwise noted.
