
Sri Lanka Pilgrimage and the Celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the World Buddhist Sangha Council
The Buddhist Town Community Association has organized a group to participate in a major pilgrimage and international Buddhist gathering to be held in Sri Lanka in late November 2026. They warmly invite everyone to join this rare and precious opportunity to attend this remarkable event, pay homage to the Sacred Tooth Relic of the Buddha in Kandy, and visit the Sacred Sri Maha Bodhi Tree in Anuradhapura, the oldest historically documented Bodhi tree in the world. The gathering will take place at the Nagalanda International University of Buddhist Studies near Columbo.

Dates: November 27 – December 2, 2026

Estimated Tour Cost: US$600 per person (based on double occupancy)
US$900 per person (single occupancy)
The tour fee includes 6 days / 5 nights of accommodations, meals, and ground transportation (Airfare and visa fees are not included).
Registration Deadline: July 31, 2026
