Trip to the Scenic Corridor of the Columbia River Gorge

Multnomah Falls, Columbus River Gorge National Scenic Area

We were able to take a quick trip up the spectacular Columbia River Gorge while in Portland for a SAUMOL class and hang out in the mist and tranquility of some of the more spectacular waterfalls and explore the many scenic views up the river. Residential or commercial development may occur in the corridor, but nothing can be visible in the scenic views: no billboards, antennae, chimneys or the like.  CLICK for more photos from news article on the Portland class.
