World Buddhism Association Exam and Evaluation Process

The World Buddhism Association Exam is now being offered again. If you are interested, you need to contact them directly and provide them with your name, contact information, and dates when you can come to Pasadena, California and take the test. The test will take two days and is open book. I believe you will need to have a suitable place to take the exam in Los Angeles area. I also understand that you will only have one opportunity to take it. I am sorry if I misspoke and told any of you that you could take it more often. I did not correctly understand the process or how the annual reevaluation worked. Once you have passed the test you will be assigned a certain rank or “button” level and a card that verifies your status. You are required to submit an annual evaluation form to have your level revaluated. You may be upgraded, remain the same, or demoted depending on your report and an evaluation by holy beings. I have prepared a form for use by Xuanfa Institute members, but any English-speakers may use it, if you wish, as we do not yet have our membership program in place. Please contact me if you have any questions. We hope that the Learning from Buddha College and Seminary that we are establishing will help you prepare for this exam process and learn the correct Buddha Dharma.
