Zambala’s Alhambra Gallery to close

The Zambala Tibet Collection of Tibetan antiques, thangkas, dharma instruments, and the like will be on sale this weekend and the next for those of you wanting to enhance your altars and collections. I just received the following notice for your information:

Zambala Tibetan Store, Alhambra, CA.

“In order to better serve our customers through online and wholesale sales, we will soon be closing our Alhambra gallery, which has become prohibitively expensive to operate.

“This weekend and next, we will have in-store specials for our best customers. Our shift in business models means we need less inventory without the retail location, so this is your opportunity to save.

“The gallery will be open Saturday and Sunday, August 24th and 25th, then again next weekend, August 31st and September 1st, from noon to 6 PM each day. During the coming work week, we can also make arrangements to be open by appointment. If this better suits your needs, please call or text Victoria at 213-268-8131 to schedule.

” You can expect savings of 30-40% on nearly everything, with higher discounts for bulk purchases. Please note that one-of-a-kinds, antiques, hand-painted thangkas, gilt statues and a few other items are not on sale—we are not closing, just reducing our inventory substantially.
