Life Release Event to Pray for Blessings will be held Sunday, January 14, 2024 to respectfully honor H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III Day. The event is sponsored by H.H. DOrje Chang Buddha III Cultural and Art Museum.
On January 19, 2011, Mayor Vincent C. Gray of Washington D.C., the United States Capital, officially designated January 19, 2011 as H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III Day, calling on everyone to salute H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. It was the first and only time that a Buddha Day was designated by a government.
Respectfully honoring the H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III Day, the H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III Cultural and Art Museum will hold a Life Release Event to Pray for Blessings. All merit will be dedicated to living beings: Wishing all living beings to be joyful, be free of suffering, and have the opportunities to listen to true Dharma. Wishing all adversities to be eliminated, all living beings attain perfect good fortune and wisdom, everyone lives a good live, all countries flourish, and the world be peaceful.
