Free Auditing membership available. Once enrolled you may go to course and download the questions covered in the discussions and watch videos of sessions held on the earlier classes. Please note that the sessions scheduled next year covering Expounding the Absolute Truth through the Heart Sutra will be treated differently. You will need to enroll in DCB22, DCB23, DCB24, and/or DCB25 to have access to the questions and recordings, but you may watch and participate in the ZOOM sessions on those classes by enrolling in C41(A). The DCB courses do require membership in either the Buddhist Studies or Xiuxing Seminary programs.

January 27 & 28: BONUS: Live classes starting at 10:00 am at Hua Zang Si, San Francisco, on an abridged version of DCB21-Expounding the Absolute Truth through the Heart Sutra: Forwards, Introductions, & Title. These classes will serve as a precursor to those to be held online on DCB22-25-Imparting the Absolute Truth through the Text of the Heart Sutra. I-IV. These classes at Hua Zang Si will not be recorded, but those of you who are enrolled in either the Buddhist Studies or the Xiuxing Seminary programs can find the more complete teachings on the same material on the recordings of the 18 class discussions held on ZOOM from November 26, 2022 through April 1, 2023 HERE and HERE (LFBCS).
January 20. 2024: Lesson 6A-The Great Stage-WISDOM PATH of EMPTINESS; developing the right view of emptiness and using language and contemplative-illumination prajna to realize the ultimate goal of intrinsic-reality prajna or absolute truth (enlightenment).
February 3, 2024: Lesson 6B-Review of DCB21. We will use LFBCS classes DCB22-I through DCB 25-IV: Expounding the Absolute Truth through the Heart Sutra for this part of C41(A). You will need to enroll in these courses to have access to both the questions and the recordings of the ZOOM sessions. Anyone enrolled in C41(A) may, however, listen to and participate in these online sessions. These discussions will continue until we complete our study of the preliminary translation we have of the entire text or we are able to get an authorized translation that you can all read.

TBA: Lesson 7-The Conclusion & Next Steps: how to continue your cultivation and Dharma practice so that we may become accomplished and help many living beings. This may include a new course that focuses on Dharma Practice and Solitary Retreats.
